About Me
My name is Jill Tonks and I am a qualified and insured NLP practitioner, Cognitive Hypnotherapist coach and trainer based in Surrey. I have extensive experience of working with individuals and groups to achieve change in the public and the private sector.
I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) – the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners – set up to protect the public by setting high standards. The CNHC is sponsored by the Department of Health, which recommends that people seeking complementary healthcare practitioners should select only those who are CNHC-registered (Department of Health, January 2011).
I am also on the National Council for Hypnotherapy executive committee as the Training and Accreditation Officer, I am an Accredited Hypnotherapy Supervisor and also one of the UK How to Thrive training team offering a range of events to organisations, individuals and communities on building resilience based on the work of Martin Seligman in ‘Authentic Happiness’ and ‘Learned Optimism’ and Karen Reivich, ‘The Resilience Factor’ (http://www.howtothrive.org)
